We have a track record of providing fantastic opportunities to candidates throughout the country and are now seeking an Electrical Project Manager to join our team.
 
** Please note that this role requires flexibility when it comes to travel as the projects will be in various locations.
**To be considered for this role you must have knowledge and experience a range of fire and security systems.
 
To ensure that all installation projects are carried out in an efficient and effective manner both to financial and to time bound metrics, suiting the needs of the customer and Churches Fire. The Project Manager must oversee the project thoroughly and keep communication between installation teams, customers, and other trades to the highest of standards and following, strictly, our in-house processes.
 
The Role: 
  • To project manage a range of different projects from small, medium and large across mainly commercial sites
  • To ensure all contracts are completed in the timescale agreed with the customers and within budgets
  • To ensure all of your own and technicians work is completed in the timescales agreed with the customer
  • To fully understand current legislation surrounding the designing of fire & security protections systems (or be working towards it)
  • To plan ahead as far as possible and as the major projects progress, check back to plans/programmes regularly and ensure they are authentically documented and accounted for
  • To plan and organise your own daily work and that of your teams, assisting the projects Department and technicians when required to an excellent level
  • To plan and organise your own daily work to ensure that you have a strong understanding of all projects being quoted, planned and executed
  • Assist Installations Director / Head of Electrical / Mechanical, Project Managers / Technicians / Project Co-ordination where required
Key Requirements: 
 
  • To have a wealth of experience within installations across ideally both fire and security systems but we can look at someone who is fire bias – however you must be willing to learn
  • To have good communication skills and be confident in dealing with difficult clients, labour and be able to prioritise work load
  • To be willing to travel depending on where the projects are located (North)
  • To be flexible and adaptable around the companies requirements as these can change
